Connect Print Management was founded by Dr Marc Sollberger in 2009 in response to an un-met need in the marketplace for Pharmacies that struggle with their printers, faxes and copiers because their either don’t function properly or otherwise produce sub-par results uneconomically.
Once this niche was identified as a multi-device environment that produces more than 20 reams of paper per month, it was expanded to cater to multi-location organisations within the mid-tier non-pharmacy companies who also wrestle with the same irritations and inadequacies.
Printing, faxing and copying is recognised as a necessary evil – something that must get done to invoice, process orders and/or fill prescriptions. Printer Fleet Management has been around for at least 20 years, but the big players that primarily include large equipment manufacturers, are interested in the big end of town where hundreds of devices are often rationalised or consolidated as a cost-cutting measure.
